  • Url: www.FoundationSeattle.com
  • Title: Foundation v5
  • Meta: N/A

The Foundation Seattle is a group that throws parties for charity events for organizations in Seattle and gets matching funds from companies like Microsoft. Right now they only show up for the domain name. Which is unfortunate, they really could use search both to their advantage and to the advantage of their charities.

Dealing With Flash

Foundation Seattle uses flash to run their site. I can’t blame them, flash is simple to deal with. Their current no script says:
Alternate HTML content should be placed here. This content requires the Adobe Flash Player.

That makes me laugh. They should put their mission statement in as the noscript:

Foundation Seattle Mission Statement

They should also add in a meta description like:
Foundation Seattle is an association of young professionals who promote, organize and create events designed to support and raise funds for non-profits and organizations that support children and their future in this society.

Foundation Seattle should also change their title to some thing like:

Foundation Seattle Charities - Partying With A Purpose

Linking

Because Foundation Seattle is raising money for not for profits like Big Brother and Big Sisters they should be putting more robust content up and getting those sites to send a link from the new section and get the venues to send a link from their calenders.
